We are a Labrador Retriever Specialty Club formed to serve the Labrador fanciers of Wisconsin. Our members are mainly from the Madison and Milwaukee areas although we have members from other cities/towns in Wisconsin such as Green Bay, Tomah, Dodgeville, etc.
We have held two successful "A Matches" and as of August, 2007 we are now a recognized specialty club and can start holding our own specialty shows per AKC! We also have held several fun matches, 2 WC/WCX test and participated in many educational events around Wisconsin to help promote responsible breeding and ownership of Labradors. We also support Labrador Retriever Rescue.
We have an active membership, many compete in multiple AKC events and all are hard workers at all of our BLRC events. If you are interested in getting involved with our club, you are welcome to attend one of our upcoming events so that we can get to know each other. In order to apply for membership you need to attend 2 or more of our events and pick up a membership application in person. Contact an officer if you have any questions about our club.
